About Pivot

Our Story

We’re Eva and Lukáš, the founders of Pivot — and professional dancers with a shared passion for dance. We’re originally from Košice, Slovakia, and together we bring over 25 years of experience in competitive ballroom dancing to everything we create.

Throughout our careers, we’ve had the privilege of competing at the highest levels of the sport, our professional career includes:

• 10-Dance World Cup silver medalists
• 10-Dance World Championship finalists
• American Smooth Blackpool finalists
• U.S. Professional Rising Star American Smooth Champions

Our Commitment

As dancers, we understand exactly what it feels like to spend long hours on your feet—training, teaching, performing. That’s why we started Pivot: to design high-quality, comfortable, and stylish dance shoes that meet the real-world needs of dancers like us.

Every detail matters to us—from the feel of the suede sole to the fit around the arch. Our mission is simple: to make shoes that are designed by dancers, for dancers—shoes that move with you, support you, and help you feel your best on the floor.
